This is Kevin's busy season at work, so working in the evening is not uncommon. Sometimes I feel a little lazy as I lay around and watch TV, but I did herd around 26 Kindergarteners today so I think that qualifies as two full time jobs!
I had to snap this picture because Preston crashing in our bed is not a usual sight, but it sure looked sweet.
The Ice Storm we had this week was pretty crazy, but beautiful.
Our evergreen trees are looking a little heavy. Kevin replanted all 7 of them last fall. We're hoping they pull through this cold winter.
Our bushes are hanging pretty heavy too!
School was dismissed early today, Preston and I got to do a bit of coloring!

We managed to run around on the deck today in between the rain showers. Preston loves to be outside. We can't wait until Spring!
I woke up this morning to a very sweet message from Kevin on the living room floor. Thanks Preston for letting Daddy borrow your LeapFrog Letters! I also got a dozen long stem roses hand delivered to school today. I think my husband gets an A+ for Valentine's Day! I'm a lucky girl.
Here is Kevin with his "homemade" Valentine's present. I decorated paper hearts and put sweet messages inside! Yeah, he's pretty lucky too!

Since I had the day off of school today, and Kevin decided to work from home, we went outside to play in the snow/rain!
I'm not quite sure what Preston is trying to do here, but if I know my son, he's most likely trying to lick the snow!
