SALMON FISHING

Kevin went salmon fishing in Michigan last week with his Dad and brother, Ryan. It looks like they had a great time, but I think the salmon put up a pretty big fight! I was very disappointed when I found out that I wouldn't be getting any fresh salmon for dinner. These salmon are swimming upstream, therefore, their bodies are already mushy, you can't eat them. Who fishes for fish you can't eat?

Preston sure has a LOT of growing to do!

APPLE PICKING

We decided to make a trip to Huber's Saturday evening to pick some apples. I really wanted some Fuji and Granny Smith apples, but we were about 2 weeks to soon.

We stopped to enjoy some homemade Huber's ice cream. Yum!

JUST PRACTICING

Preston was practicing for Halloween in his cowboy costume. He loved it, but I think he loves Elmo more!

POTTY TIME ANYONE?

Preston has really been interested in the potty this last week. He will even go to the potty and want to get on and actually pee! Such luck so far! It cracked me up when he decided that his bear needed to use the potty as well!

WIND STORM 2008

We had a pretty crazy wind storm today that lasted a few hours. We have lots of tall skinny trees so they were bending and blowing like crazy. A few trees uprooted in the back yard.

We raked the entire backyard. It was filled with leaves and sticks.

FRED'S BACK

Fred stopped in for a visit and a tomato or two. I hope he is stocking up for the winter because we are running out. I think he's filled out a bit.

YARD SALE

Deer Run had their Fall yard sale on Saturday. Preston got a new chair, perfect for relaxing.

Preston LOVES his new car. He spent most of his weekend in it!

WYATT'S BAPTISM

We made a trip to Ohio today for our nephew's Baptism. Congratulations Wyatt!
Congratulations to his mom & dad also, they are celebrating their 1 year Anniversary tomorrow!

After 5 years together, Kevin & I must really think alike because we got each other the exact same Anniversary card!

5 YEARS TOGETHER

Tomorrow, Kevin and I will be celebrating our 5 year Anniversary. Our last 5 years have been filled with so many wonderful memories, I know our next 5 will be even better. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband and best friend.

NEW TOY

Preston loves to watch Kevin use the blower after he mows the grass. Preston sways his arm back and forth and makes a blower noise trying to be just like Daddy. We decided the kid deserved his own blower!

He even likes the goggles.
Preston has been telling us when he needs to go "poo poo" so we decided to get him a potty. He already peed in the potty tonight. yeah!

I think goggles are the perfect attire for sitting on the potty, don't you?
