BIG BOY

Preston is getting the hang of using a spoon. Looking good buddy!

MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY FUNDRAISER

Friday night we went to a Muscular Dystrophy Fundraiser with Alicia & Daniel. They had music, auctions, yummy desserts & horse racing!
Alicia was a jockey for the first race. She was in the lead for most of the race, but barely lost in the end.
Here she is celebrating her lead!

SPRING BREAK FUN

Kevin took the day off on Friday so he could hang out with us. We wanted to go to the zoo, but the weather wouldn't cooperate, so instead we went to play at Pro Bass Shop!
Preston loved looking at the huge catfish in the aquarium.

You can see the catfish behind him, I think it was bigger than him!

Here I am taking a whirl at the firing range. It only took 25 shots, but I got that pesky lion!

We also stopped by Feeders Supply to check out the animals. Preston loves dogs.
He was so happy to see the puppies!
This little guy was pretty cute, but he was labeled as "high energy." Just what we need, a high energy kid and dog. No thank you.
"Lovebirds" ha!
A fish might be more on the "energy level" that we need right now!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

We had a birthday dinner for my mom!
Here's Jason making some birthday milkshakes. Don't lick the spoon!

The boys taking a break from playing to read with their dad.
Yum! Oreos and milk, doesn't get much better than that!

LAKEHOUSE

Whenever it rains a lot (like lately), Kevin and I always joke that we have a Lakehouse. We have a beautiful wooded lot, but the downfall is that it backs up to our park, which is a flood zone. Fortunately, it hasn't ever come more than 20 feet from our house, but our neighbor's yard gets flooded very easily. I'm thinking about buying a canoe for Preston when he gets older!

IS PRESTON THERE?

Preston always tries to play with our cell phones, so we gave him one of our old ones that still has battery power. He opens and closes it, turns it off and on. I think he's expecting some calls.

WAGON RIDES

Kevin finally got around to putting together Preston's wagon he got for Christmas.
Unfortunately, it was raining tonight, so we had to take a ride around the house.

HERE COMES MORE TROUBLE

So Preston is getting taller! He can now open all the doors in our house. Just when we think we have everything "Preston proofed" ... he does something new!

HAVING A BALL

Our big purchase today was a blue ball. We had fun throwing it around in the yard.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!
Congrats on 36 years of marriage!
We love you!

WELCOME HOME

Great Grandma & pa Smitley came home from their winter stay in Florida today. We couldn't wait to see them!

LUNCH DATE WITH DADDY

Preston and I took Kevin out to lunch today. Here they are in front of Kevin's building. Going to see Daddy at work is always a win/win situation. We get to see him, eat at great restaurants, and shop at The Summit!
Here's Kevin giving Preston the grand tour.
Sean gave Preston a baseball bat to play with. He didn't want to give it back!
We had lunch at Martini's. Yum!

HAPPY EASTER

Look what the Easter Bunny brought Preston!

My Easter Carrot cake.

Cameron, Karen, Preston & Jacob chowing down!

My handsome nephews, Beardsley & Buerk.

While we were hunting for Easter eggs, it started to snow!

Preston managed to grab one egg.

Checking out the goods.

COLORING EASTER EGGS

As crazy as it sounds, I can never remember how to make boiled eggs. They always crack! But this year was a little better (thanks to a little advice from Grandma Welsh), last year I put the eggs in after the water was hot! Not a good idea!
Unfortunately my luck didn't hold, I accidently dropped the yellow tablet in with the blue tablet, so then I had two cups of green. Needless to say, they were an ugly bunch of colored eggs, but we had fun.

Preston got tired, so Kevin had to finish up! Thanks Dad!
