HALLOWEEN FUN

I made "spooky" salad for dinner tonight. Scary, huh?
Preston & Kevin helped me make some "monster cookies." Yum!

HALLOWEEN BASH

A friend of Kevin's from work, invited us to a Halloween Party Saturday night. We had a really great time and the costumes were so cool.

Kevin & I dressed as a biker couple complete with a raunchy t-shirt.

HOMEMADE APPLE CIDER

Checking out the big bulldozer
Every year my family gets together to make homemade apple cider. It's such a fun family tradition. It's exciting to see our kids start to share in the fun.
Here's Beardsley washing the apples.
Here comes the cider.
This cider press has been in our family for years.

Taking a break on Grandpa's tractor.
The boys
Here's me stealing a glass of fresh cider. Yum!
This will be a scary sight in 13 years.
I'm not sure of the exact amount, but I think we made around 17 gallons.

BOOKS

Now that Preston is tall enough to climb in the rocker in his room, he loves to climb up in the chair and look at books.

Grammy took Preston to Tot Time on Thursday at the library. They made a pretty cool elephant.

PRESTON'S STASH CONTINUED

I noticed this weekend that Kevin's socks and my underwear moved to a new location; behind the couch! I wonder where it will move next!

PRESTON'S STASH

Preston has a new secret hiding spot, his toolbench. Whenever we can't find something, this is the first place we look. Tonight I found Kevin's socks and my underwear. At least they were clean!

ELMO

We snapped a few pictures of Preston in his Halloween costume.

We have a stripper!

CELEBRATING GRANDPA

Saturday after Grandpa's burial, we decided to head back to his farm to celebrate and remember doing what he loved most; working outside on his farm. We ate soup, cooked hot dogs over the fire and cleaned up in his yard. All my childhood memories of Grandpa are doing something around his farm. I think this is where we all feel close to Grandpa. We hoped he was smiling down on us as we celebrated his life.
Here's most of the Roseberry crew. Busy burning sticks and cooking.
Grandpa has 9 1/2 Great Grandkids. My nephew, Brooks is due in January.

BUSY LITTLE BEE

Preston decided that our shoes belonged in the hamper instead of our clothes.
This made me laugh today. I was mopping and saw something red down in the duct. Our busy little bee took off the covers and stuck it down in the duct and then replaced the covers. No telling how long it's been there. Boys crack me up!

TOT TIME

Since I was home this week, Kevin and I got the chance to take Preston to his Tot Time at the library. We sang, danced, read books and made this nifty owl puppet. Preston did the gluing and Kevin did the sticking. Looks good boys!

THANK YOU

I wanted to post a picture of my beautiful flowers sent to me by my Bridgepoint family. Thanks so much for all your kind words during this difficult time.

PUMPKIN PATCH

I've been running a little behind on my blogging. Here's some pictures of our trip to Huber's last Sunday with my brother and his family. We had a lot of fun, but it was a little too warm for pumpkin picking! Where is Fall?
Enjoying the wagon ride.
Feeding the ducks our leftover lunches.
Preston loves a steering wheel more than anything right now.
Don't forget to shift gears!
I think Preston and Buerk were trying to figure out how to get the pumpkin home.
It is very difficult to get 3 little boys to smile and look at the camera at the same time!
