Check out our baby birds! They are all snuggled up.

I decided that we needed a bat house in our backyard. That's what every yard needs.. right? We seem to have a lot of mosquitos in our woods and bats are suppose to eat like 1,000 mosquitos an hour or so. Here's hoping!
If you know of any bats that need a new home, please send them our way! We can house about 25 bats!

EARTHQUAKE!

What a crazy morning it was! At 5:40am when our house started to shake, I darted out of bed and yelled "Tornado!" and ran to get Preston. Preston & I were halfway down the stairs when Kevin said " I think it was an earthquake." In my sweetest morning voice I told him he was a fool and we don't have earthquakes around here! Guess I was wrong. How come no one bothered to mention to me that we are on a fault line? How long have I lived here?

THAT'S NOT GOOD!

I wasn't going to include this rather gross story on my blog, but Janelle convinced me otherwise. Preston loves to follow us to the bathroom. Well, Thursday afternoon as I was getting up.... Preston threw our remote control right between my legs into the toilet BEFORE I could flush. That's not good. Needless to say Preston learned his first 4-letter word that day! Now we need a new remote control and Preston is no longer allowed to bring things into the bathroom when he visits us! We learn something new about being parents everyday!

Grammy and Papaw stopped by to play with Preston this afternoon.

I thought my spring flowers looked so pretty today, I had to take some pictures. My favorite is the one with orange in the middle. Enjoy!

FIRST COMMUNION

Kevin's Godson, Jacob (our nephew) had his first Communtion on Saturday night. We went to Indianapolis to help him celebrate! We are proud of you Jacob!

Preston had a great time playing outside today. He loved digging in the dirt and laughed at his dirty hands.

Preston loves being outside. When he knew I was coming for him to take him inside, he would run in his little house and shut the door so I couldn't get him. I tried telling him I was going inside and going bye bye and walking away, thinking he'd run after me, but no...he just waves and says bye! So that didn't work like I had planned! It ends with me carrying him inside crying his eyes out.
